Devesh Ranjan is an Indian actor based in Mumbai, who has won global recognition for his role as ‘Shyam’ in the internationally acclaimed film Vara: A Blessing, directed by Bhutanese Monk Khyentse Norbu, an internationally acclaimed filmmaker. He was the opening guest at the 18th Busan International Film Festival, 2013, held in South Korea, which lead to his popularity. He learnt acting from the Madi School of Drama under the able guidance of ace casting director Dilip Shankar. Devesh is also known for his major roles in critically acclaimed films like BHOR and JAJABARA 2.0.
